We Mitigate Risks, Anticipate and Respond Effectively to Regulations, and Operate Sustainably.
ESG underpins all we do.
We’ve developed our technology to decrease the need for paper products, reduce personnel required on site and lower safety risks. Our suite of technology includes apps and software we’ve developed to minimize paper dependency and to increase productivity and the industry-leading programs we employ such as Microsoft Power BI.
Environmental: Measuring Carbon Footprint
AXIOS shares society’s concern with protecting the environment and is committed to minimizing our carbon footprint and educating our employees about what individuals can do to make a difference.
We’ve taken steps to reduce our environmental impact, including replacing vehicles with hybrid service trucks and digitizing our job safety analyses, paychecks and work requests. As a result, we have an extremely low carbon footprint as measured by a third-party consultant, WAP Sustainability Consulting.
Social: Diversity in Employment
We promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace and communities we live and work in.
AXIOS strives to empower employees to improve their lives and grow within the company. We support our employees with equal opportunity employment, and we provide and incentivize continuing education opportunities.
We also provide a paperless onboarding process, centralized and accessible payment portal, health benefits for all employees and opportunities for internal advancement.
Governance: Pursuit of Excellence
AXIOS is committed to a culture of integrity. The principles of responsibility, trust and transparency steer our operations in pursuit of excellence in corporate governance.
Ethical Conduct
AXIOS is accountable to many different stakeholders, from its board of directors to its clients and business associates to its employees and their families to the communities where AXIOS employees work and live.
AXIOS expects its employees to abide by ethical business practices in all situations and circumstances, regardless of local culture or business climate and regardless of the competitive environment in which the Company may find itself. These ethical business practices help promote the Company’s strategy as it seeks to grow its business and bring value both financially and ethically to Company stakeholders.
This Policy provides a consistent, Company-wide statement of its business practices and workplace conduct and thereby establishes the expectations, obligations and responsibilities of its employees. This Policy cannot address every ethical challenge the Company and its employees may face, but the principles outlined herein are intended to be guideposts that can apply to a wide range of circumstances.
AXIOS’ reputation for acting ethically and responsibly is built one decision at a time, every day, by each employee. This and other Company policies give employees information to perform their jobs ethically.
Each employee is responsible to know and comply with the policies that apply to the work they do and the decisions they make. Each Company employee, especially leaders and managers, must act with integrity and inspire trust.
Management has the added responsibility for creating an open work environment where employees feel comfortable raising concerns and demonstrating, through their actions, the importance of ethical conduct.
Again, ethical behavior does not simply happen; it is the product of clear and direct communication of behavioral expectations, modeled from the top and demonstrated by example. Ultimately, actions are what matters.
Managers must be responsible for promptly addressing ethical questions or concerns raised by employees and for taking the appropriate steps to deal with such issues. Managers should not consider employees’ ethics concerns as threats or challenges to their authority but rather as another encouraged form of business communication. AXIOS wants the ethics dialogue to become a natural part of daily work.
